Meet Our Team
Cynthia Tyler, DDS, MS

Dr. Cynthia Tyler is originally from Federal Way, Washington. She received a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Washington in 2007, and DDS from the University of Washington in 2011. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Tyler worked as a general dentist for two years in Montana and Minnesota. She completed a rigorous two year endodontic residency at the University of Minnesota earning a MS and certificate. Her research, which was published in the Journal of Endodontics, focused on the application of CBCT in surgical endodontic treatment planning.

 

 Dr. Tyler has experience teaching dental students at the University of Minnesota, and lecturing to students and general dentists. She enjoys participating in charitable events such as Give Kids a Smile Day. Dr. Tyler enjoys all areas of Endodontics, including surgical endodontics and utilization of CBCT to provide minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment planning. The most fulfilling aspect of endodontics for Dr. Tyler is comforting anxious patients through effective communication and compassionate care.

 

Dr. Tyler stays educated on the latest advancements in the specialty of endodontics by maintaining memberships in the American Association of Endodontists, Washington State Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the South King County Dental Association.

 

Scott A. Martin, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Martin is a native of Washington. He grew up in Tacoma and received his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Washington (1977), followed by his D.D.S. degree from the University of Washington (1981) and has practiced dentistry since then in the Seattle area.
During his nearly 20 years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Martin participated in multiple study clubs, with a focus on cutting edge endodontic procedures and techniques and also taught part-time in the Emergency Clinic at the U.W. Dental School for nearly 10 years. He has been limited to endodontic diagnosis and root canal therapy for over 10 years now.

 

Dr. Martin is dedicated to the advancement of his field and participates in research projects, publishing articles in dental journals and teaching, both during in office seminars and at dental schools and local and national dental meetings. Dr. Martin has published in the Journal of Endodontics (peer reviewed international publication) and is a Fellow and founding member of the International Academy of Endodontics. He has been privileged to present at the international TDO Scientific Session, many times at the Washington State Academy of General Dentistry, and at the Pacific Northwest Dental Convention, and local Study Clubs.

 

Magali Vega

Magali is a native of Mexico who is proud to have attained her U.S. citizenship over 5 years ago. Magali has an intuitive grasp of endodontic therapy and is highly skilled at making your endodontic experience smooth, painless, and precise. Almost every patient we see is immediately aware of how careful, competent, and knowledgeable she is about endodontic procedures. Magali is one of the most accomplished endodontic assistants in the Seattle area.

Karen Delafuente

Karen is a Northwest native who grew up in Shoreline. She lives in Monroe with her husband and two boys who keep her busy all the time. She is an expert at managing your insurance and billing and you will love the accuracy and smoothness with which she gets your paperwork handled. She is organized and understands the ins and outs of the many different plans, so you can rest assured that your billing will be correct and done in a timely manner. We interface with our referring offices and strive to make this part of your experience the best it can be.
